PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
I am a psychotherapist (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker) with a private practice in Boston and Truro (Cape Cod) Massachusetts
and over 25 years experience.
I am flexible in my therapeutic approaches and tailor my work to your particular needs. I have taught at the graduate level at the Simmons
College School of Social Work in Boston and continue to teach and provide consultation to medical and mental health practitioners
nationally and internationally. With a mixture of warmth and professionalism, I am known for my ability to create a comfortable and
collaborative setting for my clients in order to help them reach their goals for a more satisfying life. I am available to meet in my Boston
or Cape Cod offices, or to have sessions over the telephone or internet.
Training
I received a Master's in Social Work in 1985 from the Simmons
College School of Social Work in Boston, MA. Since then, I have
completed a number of postgraduate training programs, continually
expanding my knowledge base in the newest and most effective treatment
approaches used in the field of psychotherapy. These studies include
advanced courses with some of the most highly influential
teachers/practitioners worldwide.
